Holden

Holden logo

In line with the government initiative to help with the transition of the soon to be affected workers of the automotive industry (Holden and the supply chain) in the Adelaide region, Northern Futures offers free career assistance services. These are focused around the identification of new career options, nurturing workers in actively progressing towards job goals, and assisting with access to funds for retraining and upskilling.

New Career Options

We will help people find out about new career paths they can follow, or how to reuse their skills to access new jobs. It includes provision of different career tools like job search advice, job agencies contacts, professional resume and cover letter writing advice, and job market research.

Nurturing people in active approach

We offer personal coaching in a relaxed environment. We focus on tailored service for each individual to help them into sustainable work outcomes.

Assistance with the access to training funds

Northern Futures offices at Elizabeth and Salisbury can assist in getting the required funding to ex-Holden workers needing retraining or upskilling. Holden workers can also access assistance via the Holden Transition Centre.
